Waiara farm is the Grassroots base and is situated at River Road, Broadlands Forest, Reporoa. The property is approximately 12 acres and on one side skirts the Waikato River. The name Waiara means the "path of water" or the "bursting of the birth" waters. Warwick and Lorraine Clark have leased the property with a view to purchase
in the future.
Our Vision for Waiara Farm
Is to be a place of Grace and Faith practically reflecting
God's heart and hands to our local community
Our focus is building strong and healthy relationships with God and each other. Where his Grace and Love abounds and people can find acceptance and not judgment.
Like the monasteries in the past, it is a place of practical labour, prayer, worship and fellowship. Centred on total provision and sustainability in God. Faith and Love is our Kingdom commodities we trade in.
Sometimes faith will make you look stupid until it rains - Noah
Our Plans for Waiara Farm
To be practically involved in our local Reporoa community
BACK TO EDEN
Develop a Country Community garden - the way God intended it- to share with the community, helping those in need.
Develop a place for locals to sell produce & art enabling local people to intermingle and get to know each other together.
A WORKING FARM
Working farm to provide food and income for the project and support people in need.
To train people and to see and hear what God is saying individually, through one another and God's word. Then putting what God is saying into action by faith.
SUSTAINABILITY AND TOTAL PROVISION IN HIM
We will also train people in becoming totally dependant on God. Living in his abundance and provision, accessed by faith and rest. Total sustainability in God is a lifestyle that we will all have to learn in the days ahead.
Art and music classes, workshops, weekends etc.
Is when friends of Grassroots far and wide gather as a community to have fun, eat together, camp, fellowship, pray and worship in the Glory Barn.
Modern day monastery where people work in garden & farm, pray and build community
PLACE OF REFUGE
A prepared place for the future ( Like in Acts, people shared everything in common and where there was need, they would give selflessly). There was great unity amongst them.
WHAT GOD IS SAYING
We have had an incredible amount of prophetic words for Waiara Farm that we have chronicled, which has carried us through our initial pioneering of the vision. If you would like to find out more about what God has said give us a call and we can make a time to meet.
One of the most encouraging dreams we have had was God writing our names alongside His on a huge masterpiece
